Job Title: Outreach/Marketing Team
Purpose of Job: To organize and promote Open Enrollment activities that will bring in new students and families to Vista 360.
Job Timeline (hours per week, month, school year time-frame): Prior to open Enrollment – Jan – May.
Job Functions:
Coordination of all advertising campaigns within the school and in paid and free publications.
Creation and distribution of posters, brochures and other materials to promote awareness of the program, Information Night and school tours, including prep flyers/brochures for Napa Holiday Parade.
Be available to answer call requests for information or personal visits from parents.
Keep PFC informed of activities, support, needs, etc.

Job Title: Kinder Connect / New Family Orientation
Purpose of Job: Welcome new kindergarten students and new students to Vista 360. Assist the families in information on the program and school.
Job Timeline (hours per week, month, school year time-frame):
May – end of Sept - May require some work over the summer (letters, calls to new families of kindergarteners) Prep in May for next year.
Job Functions:
Welcome letter to new Kindergarteners families.
Welcome letter to new families to Vista 360 program from other schools.
Do tours for new/incoming students.
Explain school and parent group to new families.
Perhaps hold a meeting for the families new to Vista 360.
Materials for Job:
Flyer for meeting(s).
Agenda/handouts for meetings.
Perhaps baked goods donated for meeting – drinks etc.
Contacts/Resources:
Other parents/faculty that would like to present to the new families – suggest PFC President/VP be present at the meeting as well as principal and kindergarten teachers.
Talk about:
1. community events
2. fundraising events
3. volunteer & jobs
4. Emergency procedures etc, attendance, field trips, etc.
Job Title: Holiday Parade Coordinator
Purpose of Job: Coordinate for entry of the school into the parade. Plan and decorate the float. March in the parade.
Job Timeline (hours per week, month, school year time-frame):
Oct – Nov to enter the parade, plan and decorate the float and marking group.
12-18 hours total week of parade is very busy Parade is usually Sat after Thanksgiving
Job Functions:
Coordinate with the Napa Valley Chamber of Commerce for entry of the school into the parade with a float/marching group
Obtain a truck usable for the float and work with volunteers to decorate the float for the parade.
Work with the volunteers and students for float and marching group personnel.

Job Title: Garden Coordinator
Purpose of Job: In charge of garden and garden programs
Job Timeline (hours per week, month, school year time-frame):
Year round in spurts - need 3-4 people
Job Functions:
Coordinate for seeds and other garden materials and equipment.
Coordinate volunteers to work in garden and on campus.
Coordinate (2) Saturday Clean-ups for the campus/garden (Fall and Spring).
Plan garden classes.
Present garden classes or get volunteers to give garden classes.
Work with teachers to integrate garden and growing into the curriculums.
Materials for Job:
Tools are in shed, garden key will fit shed. Compost bins can be used for waste, school has yard receptacle waste container by flagpole.

Job Title: Assembly Coordinator
Purpose of Job: To provide fund and educational assemblies for the students and teachers.
Job Timeline (hours per week, month, school year time-frame):
Depends on the number and type of assemblies – ongoing through out the year.
Job Functions:
To initiate ideas and coordinate assembly possibilities with staff.
Person should be comfortable calling performers, resource ideas and researching ideas for assemblies.
Main point of contact between Vista 360 faculty/parents and the potential performers.
Coordinates the “show” from start to finish – initial set up to setting up the show on day of performance to introducing the performance.
Provides teachers with detailed information about assembly so they can properly prep their students.
Coordinate with performers for equipment space needs (room configuration).
Materials for Job:
Performances are typically done in the MUR – sometimes 2 performances are needed.

Steps to Coordinate:
1. Obtain assembly budget to start planning Performers typically charge $250-$800 per show. If 2 back to back shows are scheduled, a price break is generally given.
2. Contact teachers to gather ideas (written survey or e-mail).
3. Go for diversity (music, science, author visit etc ).
4. Book Early – months in advance.
5. Talk to performer and teachers to get availability (how many shows, break up grades?).
6. Check MUR availability.
7. Let Gaye Rossi and janitor know when the assembly will take place.
8. Notify teachers once the date is set and give details.
9. Notify treasurer of check amount and who it is made out to.
Day of Show:
Arrive early at school to set up room and get microphone props etc.
Set chairs up along sides of room for teachers and parents.
