  • Habitat Restoration at Napa River Ecological Reserve — Napa County Regional Park and Open Space District
    NCRPOSD is now the steward for the Napa River Ecological Preserve in Yountville. They are biginning a major restoration project here. This site could become a living labratory for Vista 360 students.
  • Watershed Education | The Bay Institute
    STRAW coordinates and sustains a network of teachers, students, restoration specialists and other community members as they plan and implement watershed studies and restoration projects in Marin, Sonoma, Napa and Solano counties. Since its inception in 1992, 25,000 students have participated in over 275 STRAW restorations on rural and urban creeks, planted over 25,000 native plants and restored more than 20 miles of creek banks.

  • PRBO Conservation Science: School Programs
    PRBO's Education and Outreach Program offers hands-on bird science education activities in the classroom and field for grades 1st through 12th.
  • Napa-Solano Audubon Society - Main - Education
    A major element of the NSAS mission is education. Their programs include opportunities to learn more about wild birds and their habitats.
  • PORTS (Parks Online Resources for Teachers and Students
    California State Parks PORTS program provides teachers and students with complete units of study and live videoconferences.

    Located just a short drive from downtown Napa, Connolly Ranch is a rich reminder of Napa County's agricultural past. These 12 acres serve as the Connolly Ranch Education Center, providing dynamic, hands-on education programs in an outdoor setting for children and the community.
  • Napa Valley Museum | Trunk Program
    The Napa Valley Museum Trunk Program is an educational outreach program developed by the museum to serve civic groups and schools in Napa County. Professionally trained volunteer docents bring museum artifacts, photographs and other educational materials on-site in a trunk for an interactive, educational presentation on the history, culture and environment of the Napa Valley.
